*While we are a certified non-profit filed in the state of Connecticut, our 501(c)(3) status is pending with the IRS and can take up to 6 months for approval. Once approved, exempt status is recognized back to the date the organization was created (April 2025). While an application is pending, our organization is considered exempt from federal income tax and all donations are tax exempt.
